Dani Olmo, recently selected by Luis de la Fuente with La Roja, expressed all his confidence in his coach, Hansi Flick, and his philosophy that he is implementing within the club. Interviewed during the Spanish national team’s training camp in Las Rozas, Olmo said: “We trust it, it worked well for us. If we are 100%, we are masters of our destiny”. According to him, the style of play established by Flick remains effective, and the locker room is totally aligned with this approach, despite external perceptions of nervousness or doubts.
The Catalan midfielder also spoke of the importance of the return to form of key players like Pedri, Raphinha or Joan Garcia, stressing that their contribution is essential to maintain Barça’s momentum. For Olmo, Flick’s philosophy is not limited to tactical principles: it creates cohesion and unity within the team, allowing players to perform fully on the pitch. “He can sometimes work better, sometimes worse, but he is clear and we trust him. There is no reason to change it”he added, confirming his total support for the German coach’s approach.
