Haaland posed for photos with the staff and later had the honor of seeing the “Haaland Special” added to the menu. However, an important detail risks displeasing the City striker.
The Man City star is enjoying himself
Haaland recently visited Happy Seasons MCR, a popular restaurant in Chinatown, causing a stir among staff and fans. The striker ordered the triple roast meat dish, which included Peking duck and crispy pork belly. In homage to the Norwegian striker, the restaurant named this dish “Haaland Special”. The visit delighted the owners, fervent supporters of Manchester City. But they later revealed that the dish was already on the menu and had been a specialty of the restaurant for 40 years, although this dish of triple roast meats accompanied by white rice now bears the Norwegian international’s name.
Haaland makes a splash at Happy Seasons Chinese restaurant
Following Haaland’s visit, the team released two photos: one showing him smiling, the other showing the dish created in his honor. The first post says: “ Incredible surprise to see @erling arrive for a triple roast! I couldn’t believe my eyes when he walked in! Thanks for coming, buddy. »
The following post described the dish in detail:
“The Haaland Special! We’re joking! It’s actually our classic Triple Roast Meat with White Rice – a dish we’ve been serving here in Manchester’s Chinatown for over 40 years. To be fair, Haaland did order the Peking duck and crispy pork. So, as funny as it sounds, if you ask for the “Haaland Special” you will get exactly what he ordered – lol. Our team loves these jokes, so come visit us! We roast over 60 ducks a day, all marinated the day before and roasted the same day. It’s the same method we’ve used for over 40 years, and it’s all served with our homemade sweet soy sauce, made entirely from herbs, spices and natural sweeteners. »
