The France team can validate its ticket for the next World Cup. In a charged context, 10 years to the day after the attacks which hit Paris, the Blues welcome Ukraine this Thursday evening at the Parc des Princes (to follow live with commentary on French Football Weekly from 8:45 p.m.). If successful, they will be officially qualified for the World Cup which will be held next summer, even before the last day of the qualifiers scheduled for this Sunday.

Didier Deschamps aligns a 4-2-3-1 with Koundé and Digne in the defensive lanes to surround the Saliba-Upamecano pair. Kanté and Koné will play a step above, while Mbappé, placed at the forefront, will be supported by Olise, Cherki and Barcola. Opposite, Ukraine presents itself with several surprises even if the Parisian defender Zabarnyi, associated with Svatok and Mykhavko in protection of Trubin, is very present. The attack is formed by the Hutsuliak-Yaremchuk duo.

The compositions:

France: Maignan – Koundé, Saliba, Upamecano, Digne – Kanté, Koné – Olise, Cherki, Barcola – Mbappé.

Ukraine: Trubin – Karavaiev, Zabarnyi, Svatok, Mykhavko, Mykhailichenko – Ocheretko, Yarmoliuk, Nazaryna – Hutsuliak, Yaremchuk.
