The qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup will soon give their verdict in the Europe zone. If England is for the moment the only team from the Old Continent officially qualified, thanks to its flawless performance in Group K (six matches, six victories), it could be joined by three other selections from this Thursday evening. The point group by group.

GROUP D

Among the four groups competing on November 13, that of France could well settle down in the evening. Leaders with 10 points, the Blues are three steps ahead of Ukraine, their next opponent at the Parc des Princes. If successful, Didier Deschamps’ players will validate their ticket for the North American World Cup even before facing Azerbaijan on Sunday in Baku.

The classification of group D
1. France – 10 points (+6)
2. Ukraine – 7 points (+1)
3. Iceland – 4 points (+2)
4. Azerbaijan – 1 point (-9)

Thursday’s program
6:00 p.m.: Azerbaijan-Iceland
8:45 p.m.: France-Ukraine (TF1)

GROUP F

Like the French team, Portugal has the opportunity to secure its place for North America before the last day of the qualifiers. The Seleçao, who won three matches and conceded one draw, are five points ahead of Hungary. If Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates win in Ireland, they will qualify. A draw and a defeat could also be enough if the Magyars do not win in Armenia.

The classification of group F
1. Portugal – 10 points (+7)
2. Hungary – 5 points (+1)
3. Ireland – 4 points (-1)
4. Armenia – 3 points (-7)

8:45 p.m.: Ireland-Portugal (L’Equipe Live Foot)

2026 World Cup, already 28 known qualifiers

GROUP I

In Group I, a huge surprise is close to happening. Norway, which has won its six matches, is three lengths behind Italy and has a better goal difference (+26 against +10). If they win against Estonia and the Nazionale does not beat Moldova, Erling Haaland’s partners will be directly qualified for the 2026 World Cup while the Transalpines will compete in the play-offs.

The classification of group I
1. Norway – 18 points (+26)
2. Italy – 15 points (+10)
3. Israel – 9 points (-4)
4. Estonia – 4 points (-10)
5. Moldova – 1 point (-22)

Thursday’s program
6:00 p.m.: Norway-Estonia (L’Equipe Live Foot)
8:45 p.m.: Moldova-Italy (L’Equipe channel)

GROUP K

Mass is said for first place in Group K: England has left nothing to chance and has already won its ticket to the United States, Mexico and Canada. However, everything remains to be done for second place, qualifying for the play-offs. Before Thursday evening’s matches, Albania dominates Serbia by a short head, who would be well advised to win against the Three Lions to maintain their chances.

The classification of group K
1. England – 18 points (+18)
2. Albania – 11 points (+3)
3. Serbia – 10 points (0)
4. Latvia – 5 points (-9)
5. Andorra – 1 point (-12)
