Adrien Rabiot has agreed to reduce his salary to return to Serie A and his former coach Massimiliano Allegri. While he received more than 5 million euros per year at Olympique de Marseille, the French midfielder accepted a three-year contract with AC Milan, less remunerative, but guaranteeing stability until 2028. This decision allows him to return to the forefront in Italy and play a central role in the team, despite a lower salary than he could have received in France.

To compensate for this drop, Rabiot’s contract includes several bonuses linked to collective and individual performance. He will thus be able to receive bonuses in the event of victory in the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana or even in Serie A, offering a significant possibility of additional income according to the Gazzetta dello Sport. With 20 club titles already won, Rabiot now aims to enhance his Italian career while securing a key role under Allegri.
