Even if it remains leader in Spain with three points ahead of FC Barcelona after twelve days of the championship, Real Madrid is not completely calm. The arrival of Xabi Alonso on the bench a few months ago shook up habits and certain established orders. In attack in particular, several players have seen their playing time drastically reduced and some are considering leaving, like Rodrygo.

Last season, the Brazilian was used very regularly by Carlo Ancelotti. Under the orders of Xabi Alonso, this is much less the case. Latest illustration this weekend, during the Madrid derby against Rayo Vallecano (0-0) during which he was not a starter, with a late entry into play, in the 79th minute. Since the start of the season, he has certainly participated in ten La Liga matches, but for only 255 actual minutes of play. In all competitions, he has yet to score.

And according to information revealed this Monday by ESPN Brasilthe Brazilian international would have had enough of his situation and would be ready to look elsewhere from the next winter transfer window. The media explained that “Rodrygo’s discontent continued to grow” regarding his coach at Real. However, the player assured this summer that he was ready to fight to gain playing time. But as time passed, his vision of things would therefore have changed.

Rodrygo wants to play

Rodrygo’s case is ultimately the same as Endrick’s. As the 2026 World Cup looms, the important thing is to play to be able to show off and convince Carlo Ancelotti, the Seleço coach, to use his services. Always according to ESPNRodrygo would favor the Premier League in the event of departure, but no concrete proposal has yet reached him.

If Kylian Mbappé continues to thrive and score goals, Real Madrid is experiencing some problems with its other attackers because Vinicius Junior, even if he has been less talked about lately, has still not extended his contract. Now we just have to wait to see what will happen to everyone this winter.
