PSG strikes again at the last second

The closing shock of the 12th day of Ligue 1 turned to PSG’s advantage, down to the wire, at the expense of a valiant OL and while the two teams, although diminished, were able to put up a good battle this Sunday evening (2-3).

Surprised by Warren Zaire-Emery (26th) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (33rd) in the first period, the Gones were able to respond with aplomb by Afonso Moreira (30th) and Ainsley Maitland-Niles (50th), with a marvel of a lob for the latter.

And while we were heading towards a rather logical sharing of points in this part, added time saw Mr. Bastien show the red card against Nicolas Tagliafico (90th+3) then Joao Neves header a corner from Lee Kang-in to give the Parisians victory (90th+5).

A cruel outcome for Lyon, who this evening are content with seventh place in the ranking, seven lengths behind their evening opponent. PSG thus regains control of the elite with two more units on the clock than OM and RC Lens.
