The 12th day of Ligue 1 ends this Sunday evening with a clash between Olympique Lyonnais and PSG. A shock on paper only since the two teams will present themselves with largely reshuffled squads due to a rather impressive slaughter of injuries. At home, Paulo Fonseca’s team will still try to thwart a Parisian team which has never been as vulnerable as at the moment. Fifth in the standings, the Rhone residents can come back to within a small point of Paris if they succeed.

For Luis Enrique’s PSG, with OM’s victory against Brest, it will be essential to win to regain the lead in Ligue 1. But it will not be so simple against an OL at home, but diminished. For the occasion, Paulo Fonseca should line up a 4-2-3-1 with Grief in goal. Maitland-Niles will occupy the right lane while Tagliafico will be on the left. The central hinge should be made up of the Niakhaté-Mata duo. In midfield, Tyler Morton will be supported by Tanner Tessmann. With Corentin Tolisso very uncertain, Fonseca should bet on Khalis Merah in this role of number 10, with Rachid Ghezzal on the right and Moreira on the left.
OL also deprived of its executives
Finally, at the forefront of the attack, we will find Satriano since Pavel Sulc is injured. On the PSG side, same story with a 4-3-3 proposed by Luis Enrique. Chevalier will keep the Parisian goals with, in front of him, Joao Neves as right back to replace Hakimi. Lucas Hernandez replaces Nuno Mendes on the left, while the hinge will be made up of Zabarnyi and Pacho. In the middle, Vitinha will hold his place, supported by Fabian Ruiz.
To support the two midfielders, Luis Enrique should bet on Mayulu, a versatile young titi. On the attacking front, Kang-in Lee should feed Gonçalo Ramos up front. And on the left, with Barcola on his knees, it is the young Senegalese neo-international Ibrahim Mbaye who should have the chance to speak. Two teams without their managers for a match that is nevertheless very important from an accounting point of view.
