The month of November will mark the reunion of Randal Kolo Muani with the French team since March. The French striker, absent from the September and October gatherings, was summoned by Didier Deschamps for the Blues’ final qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. They will host Ukraine at the Parc des Princes on November 13, before traveling to Azerbaijan three days later.
The coach mentioned the case of the 2022 world vice-champion, hampered by a thigh injury for his debut with his new team, Tottenham. “Appreciated, not appreciated… we are not here to only take players we like. I have choices to make. From the moment he recovered and was able to have more playing time, he has been part of this group for a while France because of what he had to do, even if he was not always maximally effective,” explained DD to the press.
No worries for Kolo Muani
Established in his last three games with Spurs, Kolo Muani has not yet opened his goal tally this season. However, he was decisive with an offering for Wilson Odobert against Copenhagen (4-0) in the Champions League on Tuesday.
