RC Lens clearly dominated AS Monaco this Saturday for the 12th act of Ligue 1. A 1-4 victory in the Principality which says a lot about Artesian potential.

Thanks to Edouard, after excellent work from Thauvin, the visitors were the first to strike on the Rock (21st). An advantage annihilated by Balogun from the penalty spot (37th) and yet very quickly regained thanks to a goal from SaĂŻd (40th). This a few moments before the turning point of the match.

Before the break, Balogun saw red on a clumsy sole and undoubtedly severely punished (45th). And Sangaré worsened the score in added time after a new number from Thauvin (45th + 3). In the second act, Saïd added his double to add to the score (60th). Ansu Fati missing his penalty to make the slap a little less painful (90th+3).

Building on this great success, while awaiting the debates between Lyon and PSG on Sunday evening, Lens joins OM at the top of the ranking, simply ahead on goal difference. Monaco, for its part, finds itself five lengths behind this leading tandem.
