Borussia M’Gladbach finally continues. After a catastrophic start to the season, the Fohlen finally pocketed their first success at Sankt Pauli last week (4-0) and were to follow up against Cologne at home. And on a penalty obtained just before the break, first missed by Tabakovic, Sander opened the scoring for Gladbach (1-0, 45th+2).

Thanks to a second penalty, this time transformed directly by Diks (2-0, 61st), the Fohlen were able to make the break and a final goal from Tabakovic allowed Gladbach to take off and secure a second success in a row before the international break and take 12th place. Cologne, which remains stuck in 9th place, could do no better than save honor at the end of the match, again with a new penalty converted by Waldschmidt (3-1, 90th + 1).
