Barça considering January departure

Marc Bernal returned to the field on September 19 during the FC Barcelona – Valencia match (6-0), after a serious knee injury. Since then, the young midfielder has only been used sporadically, with only a few minutes in three other matches (against Oviedo, PSG and Olympiacos), and has remained on the bench in the Blaugranas’ last three meetings. According to information from Mundo DeportivoBarça is treating the situation of its nugget with caution and patience, not wanting to rush the player’s return after such a delicate recovery.

The Spanish daily also reveals that Marc Bernal’s future will depend on his playing time and his progress in the next matches. The Catalan club is preparing to face Celta Vigo before the break, then will have eight matches to play before Christmas. Depending on his performance and adaptation, a loan in January could be considered by the player and his entourage, although the club does not plan to part with him, believing that his moment will eventually arrive.
