A big revelation from the LOSC training center, Leny Yoro (19) had chosen to join Manchester United, with a five-year contract and a transfer estimated at 62 million euros excluding bonuses. A choice which caused debate, while several clubs, including Real Madrid, had requested the young Frenchman in the summer of 2024. Back as a starter after a debut hampered by a broken foot, Leny Yoro returned to his debut with the Red Devils and in particular his choice to have refused Real Madrid.

“I have never felt a feeling of regret. I know Manchester United, I know that sometimes you can have a bad season, but this club is a top club, so there is no doubt about that. I knew the club’s project before arriving. Of course, I couldn’t expect to finish the first year in 15th place. But these are things that also need to be faced. It wasn’t just Madrid or Manchester, many clubs were courting me. I chose Manchester and I’m really happy with it. But you have the club director, the coach, all the players, they are there to push you every day.explained the French defender to Telegraph.
