Arriving this season at Liverpool, Alexander Isak has only played 8 matches (1 goal, 1 assist) with the Reds and for three weeks he has been in the infirmary. Affected in the adductors, the Swede is on his way back according to his coach Arne Slot.
“Isak will return to training with the team after three weeks of absence. I know I said a few weeks ago that his pre-season was over, but three weeks of rehab isn’t enough to get him back to where he was. Even though our rehab team has done an incredible job, nothing can replace playing games. Once again, I must ask you to give him some time”he confided at a press conference.
