In recent weeks, the situation between Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso and Vinicius Junior has caused a lot of ink to flow.

The player was very unhappy with his manager after being substituted during the Clasico, and although this dispute has since calmed down between the two men, the club management remains very attentive to the issue.

Vinicius finds himself in a special situation at Real Madrid, since he has two years left on his contract. His current contract expires in the summer of 2027, and for the moment, no agreement has been reached between the two parties – although things seem to be developing favorably.

Vinicius’ future at Real Madrid uncertain

Vinicius’ future at Real Madrid is therefore uncertain, and this is why the club’s leaders have not yet made a decision on him for the next summer transfer window.

Relations between Alonso and Vinicius have been strained since the arrival of the first city

According to Bild, Real Madrid would consider selling Vinicius next summer, a decision taken following his bloodshed during the Clasico. This information would come directly from president Florentino Pérez who, despite his proximity to the Brazilian winger, would like to point out that no player is more important than the club.

Real Madrid still want a contractual agreement with Vinicius.

Despite this, Real Madrid want to ensure that Vinicius signs a new contract, as the club does not want to sell him for a lower price than expected. Such an eventuality would be likely, given that he has one year left on his contract before the next summer transfer window. So the goal is to keep the 24-year-old happy – for now.
