OGC Nice conceded a fourth defeat in as many European outings this Thursday, beaten at home by a much more efficient Friborg team (1-3).

If the Aiglons opened the scoring through Kevin Carlos (25th), the Riviera’s joy was short-lived as the Germans immediately responded with Manzambi (29th). Before taking the lead before the break thanks to two additional achievements from Grifo (39th) and Scherhant (42nd).

One more disaster in the European Cup for a Gym that is decidedly far too fragile in the face of pressure this season. Ranked 35th out of 36 before Rangers’ match against Roma, OGC Nice is already four points behind a hypothetical qualification for the Europa League play-offs.
