Kylian Mbappé is fixed. The romance between the French striker and his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, has turned into a legal battle. Arriving in 2018 from AS Monaco, Mbappé spent six full seasons in the Parisian jersey before freely joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.
For several months, the captain of the Blues has been demanding significant financial compensation from his former club. In particular, he requests payment of his last three months of salary, as well as signing and ethics bonuses. The Madrid player also requests “the reclassification of your CDD into a CDI”a judicial source told AFP.
See you on November 17
The two parties are summoned in less than two weeks for a hearing before the Paris industrial tribunal, as part of one of the aspects of the dispute between them, according to the same source. The hearing will be held on Monday, November 17 at 1 p.m., before the “miscellaneous activities” section of the court.
This file is a continuation of the tensions that emerged between the player and the capital club during the summer of 2023, when Mbappé was sidelined after refusing to extend his contract. Having left for Real Madrid a year later, the French international is now contesting several elements linked to his former contractual relationship with PSG. The world champion is demanding nearly 55 million euros from his ex-club.
