Raphinha, the huge blow!

This Monday, Fifpro, the global players’ union, unveiled its eleven for the year 2025. A not very balanced team, organized in 3-4-3, with Virgil van Dijk, Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi in defense.

Unsurprisingly, Paris Saint-Germain, winner of the Champions League, is the best represented club, with four players in the eleven. In addition to Hakimi and Mendes, Vitinha and Ousmane Dembélé were also chosen to join this team built following a vote by players from around the world.

On the other hand, Raphinha, 5e winner of the last Ballon d’Or and author of an exceptional season with Barça, was not included, unlike his teammates Pedri and Lamine Yamal. And the 28-year-old Brazilian striker obviously has it bad…

Raphinha lets loose on Instagram

Indeed, the former Rennais has published several stories on Instagram, some of his goals, others of his trophies or even his statistics. So many arguments which aim to demonstrate the inconsistency of his absence from this Fifpro eleven.

As a reminder, Raphinha played 64 matches last season with the Blaugrana, scoring 38 goals and providing 23 assists. Voted best player in the Spanish championship, the Brazilian also won three trophies: La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
