Present at a press conference on the eve of the clash between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, Vincent Kompany obviously mentioned the man in the best shape on the Bavarian side, Harry Kane, and took the opportunity to explain one of the keys to his enormous success at the start of the season, where he already has 22 goals in 15 matches in all competitions, including five goals in C1.

“We talk about it a lot this season. But his role hasn’t changed much from last season. Harry is very experienced, he has a good sense of the game. I want to give him freedom. As coaches we have ideas, but a lot of ideas also come from the players. The important thing is always the balance and the support given to the players”explained the Belgian coach. Sometimes forced to go quite low on the pitch, the English striker is at the conclusion as well as at the start of certain offensive actions of Bayern, like the role he occupied for example under the orders of José Mourinho at Tottenham.
