PSG had a nightmare evening against Bayern Munich. Beyond the 2-1 defeat conceded on its lawn at the Parc des Princes, the capital club recorded two new injuries. Uncertain for a long time due to thigh discomfort, Ousmane Dembélé finally started the match but only played 25 minutes, this time suffering from calf pain.

But the worst was yet to come for the Parisians. Just before the break, while Bayern Munich was already leading 2-0, Achraf Hakimi was indeed the victim of a terrible tackle from behind by Luis Dias, the author of the two Bavarian goals. Hit in the ankle, the Moroccan international left the pitch in tears, unable to put his foot on the ground.

And concern was necessarily in order for the former Milanese. Questioned at a press conference, Luis Enrique said he was waiting for the doctors’ verdict. “We have to wait until tomorrow after the tests to be sure of the players’ injuries,” he confided, adding: “Achraf is football, it’s a contact sport. It’s a shame. It’s complicated for the players. I remember, for example, Musiala’s injury (against PSG, at the Club World Cup.”

Achraf Hakimi on crutches leaving the Park

The images of Achraf Hakimi leaving the Parc des Princes nevertheless make us fear the worst. The native of Madrid actually left the Parisian enclosure on crutches and with one boot, seeming unable to put his foot on the ground.

According to La Chaîne L’Equipe, a fracture nevertheless seems to be ruled out since the European champions are banking on an unavailability of three to five weeks. A first verdict that looks like a relief for Morocco which is counting on its captain for the African Cup of Nations which begins on December 21.
