The Champions League resumes its rights this Tuesday with two prestigious posters. Paris Saint-Germain will welcome Bayern Munich to its Parc des Princes lair, while Real Madrid will travel to Anfield to challenge Liverpool.

The Franco-German confrontation attracts particular attention. And for good reason, it pits the two teams in Europe in the best shape since the start of the season, as confirmed by the group stage rankings. PSG is in the lead with three victories in three matches, closely followed by the German champions, who have an identical record.

“These are great matches to play”

On the Parisian side, Achraf Hakimi, in particular, expressed his enthusiasm and serenity before this shock. The Moroccan right-back says he is ready to take on this new challenge.

“Like you said, these are great games to play. We prepare ourselves physically and mentally, especially in the Champions League, and at home with our supporters. You have to be ready for these moments and take advantage of them. It will be a difficult match. We are facing a team in very good form that we have already encountered (2-0 during the Club World Cup, editor’s note). It’s a very strong team, but I think we’re also in very good shape. For those of us who will play, it will be a great occasion, and especially for those who are passionate about this sport”confided the 6th of the 2025 Ballon d’Or for the official PSG website.
