Still as active off the field, Neymar continues his expansion in the business world. The Brazilian striker unveiled his brand new project on his social networks: a sports and leisure complex called Ecossistema Neymar Jr., which will see the light of day in Porto Belo, on the northern coast of the state of Santa Catarina, in Brazil.

Spanning nearly 14,000 square meters, this ultra-modern center will be dedicated to three booming disciplines: padel, beach tennis and indoor football. In addition to the fields, the site will include a sports arena, a multidisciplinary training center, event spaces and a catering area, which will feature several partner brands of the Brazilian star.

A return to business on and off the field

Integrated into the vast urban planning project Porto Belo – Cidade dos LagosNeymar’s complex will represent one of the focal points of a development of more than one million square meters led by the company JTA Empreendimentos e Urbanismo. The overall investment of the program is estimated at around 100 million reais, or 16 million euros, according to
Sportune.

On a sporting level, Neymar has also signed his return to competition. After more than a month of absence and missing seven matches due to a right thigh injury, he played again on Saturday evening with Santos during the 31st day of the Brazilian championship (1-1). Coming on in the 67th minute, the 33-year-old striker did not score but found the rhythm, while his team remains two points from the relegation zone with a game in hand.
