Wissam Ben Yedder, who now plays for Sakaryaspor, in Turkish D2, is not finished with his legal setbacks.

Wissam Ben Yedder and his brother Sabri will soon be tried for “rape”, “attempted rape” and “sexual assault” according to
The Team. The two men will appear before the Alpes-Maritimes departmental criminal court.

It therefore took more than two years for the investigating judge to issue his indictment order. A duration corresponding to the investigations carried out in this case, which could lead to a new judicial conviction pronounced against the international tricolor (19 selections).

A quick reminder of the facts: in the summer of 2023, Wissam Ben Yedder was on vacation on the Côte d’Azur. An evening spent in the company of his brother and the two young women would have gotten out of hand. At the end of this, two complaints were filed: one against the footballer, the other against his family member.

Wissam Ben Yedder, a criminal record already filled

The native of Sarcelles had defrauded the tax authorities and concealed part of his income during his time at Sevilla FC between 2016 and 2019.

Last September, the Nice criminal court sentenced him to a fine of 90,000 euros for psychological violence against his wife. Ben Yedder appealed this latest court decision.
