Ousmane Dembélé is gradually returning from his hamstring injury contracted with the France team last September against Ukraine. Sidelined for almost a month and a half, the PSG striker returned to competition during the match against Lorient (1-1) and was used for around twenty minutes against OGC Nice (1-0).

During these first minutes of return, Dembélé showed some signs of discomfort. After the match against Nice, he complained of hamstring pain to his teammates, stating: “I have pain in my ischio. I’m in too much pain”. A signal which worried the supporters, even if the Parisian medical staff had put things into perspective, specifying that it was not a relapse.

Dembélé present in training

This Sunday morning, Dembélé returned to full training with the rest of the group at the PSG Campus. According to The Team And
RMC he was able to complete the session normally, despite some stretching and signs of discomfort, showing that his return is progressing as planned.

The Parisian staff remains attentive to his condition. And even if nothing prevents Dembélé from being present in the group for the match against Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes, he could start on the bench in order to preserve his condition. Response Tuesday evening on the sidelines of the 4th day of the Champions League.
