The latest prodigy to catch their eye is Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi.
The 18-year-old has impressed since his debut at the start of last season, where he shone against Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid in the Champions League. Bouaddi then established himself in Ligue 1. Competition is already tough to secure his services in the selection, Morocco wishing to recruit him rather than France.
Real Madrid are “closely following” Bouaddi.
This young prospect is considered one of the most promising talents in European football, already demonstrating an impressive physique, excellent recovery and great technique. According to The Daily Briefing, Real Madrid are closely monitoring his progress at Lille.
Several clubs are in the running to secure his services.
It’s no surprise that Real Madrid are among the many clubs following Bouaddi, but he has been less active than others so far. Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have already sent their scouts to observe Bouaddi, and Christopher Vivell, head of youth recruitment, has been very impressed by his talent. AC Milan is also preparing a possible transfer.
Real Madrid currently have several midfield options playing lower down the pitch, including Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Dani Ceballos and AurĂ©lien Tchouameni, all capable of filling that role under Xabi Alonso. Ceballos’ contract expires at the end of the season, which could facilitate the arrival of a midfielder, but there has been talk of recruiting a starter next summer rather than a young prospect.
