Auxerre – OM: Streaming, TV channel and compositions

Eight months after an evening which traumatized an entire club, OM returns to Abbé-Deschamps with a spirit of revenge. Humiliated here last February (0-3), Longoria and De Zerbi returned to Auxerre in a busy context, marked by a saturated infirmary, three games without a victory and ambient pressure.

An expected revenge in a fragile climate

Marseille’s collective memory has forgotten nothing: Longoria’s explosive remarks on arbitration, the sporting rout, the open crisis. Eight months later, OM clings to the podium but is seriously struggling. Beaten in Lens, caught in the 96th minute against Angers, and also defeated in the Champions League in Lisbon, De Zerbi’s men are struggling to regain their tempo. To make matters worse, the infirmary is overflowing: eight absent including Balerdi, Medina, Weah, Kondogbia and Gouiri. Emerson is spared, Nadir uncertain.

In this unstable context, one star shines: Robinio Vaz. At 18, the kid trained at the club displays phenomenal stats – a goal every 36 minutes – and comes off a double full of personality against Angers. Facing a team that dominated OM twice last season, their freshness could make the difference. Greenwood and Paixão will accompany him in attack, with O’Riley preferred to Gomes in the middle. It remains to be seen whether youth will be enough to compensate for mental wear and tear.

Auxerre, the unexpected black beast

AJA is 17th, but remains the only team to have beaten OM twice in 2024/25. Christophe Pélissier relies on a rigorous 5-4-1, and on Lassine Sinayoko involved in 57% of his team’s goals. But the dynamic is bad: 1 point over the last five days, no victory for more than a month, two games without a goal. Auxerre could suffer a third defeat at home, which has not happened since January 2023.
