Vinícius is not giving up in negotiations to extend with Real Madrid. The Brazilian, under contract until 2027, wants to match Kylian Mbappé’s income, while the club is already offering him 20 million euros net, likely to rise to 25 with bonuses. Madrid, faithful to its salary policy, refuses to exceed this ceiling and remains firm: it is accept or leave, depending Sport. If no agreement is reached, Vinícius could leave the club freely at the end of his contract.

In anticipation of the departure of its Brazilian star, Real Madrid has already identified his successor: Erling Haaland. Recruiting the Norwegian promises to be complex, but the links between his entourage and Vinícius’ agent, Rafaela Pimienta, could facilitate discussions. Some English voices evoke a scenario where a transfer of Vinícius to Saudi Arabia, for a stratospheric sum (around €200 million), would allow the Madrid club to try its luck for the Manchester City scorer.
