Paris Saint-Germain knows what to expect. Next Tuesday, the capital club hosts Bayern Munich for the 4th day of the Champions League. The Parisians, held on Wednesday evening by Lorient (1-1) and who have just lost Désiré Doué to injury, will have to face Munich in great form.

Vincent Kompany’s team won 4-1 on the Cologne pitch in the round of 16 of the German Cup, thus making 14 consecutive victories in all competitions since the start of the season. A new record among the five major European championships.

The previous record belonged to Fabio Capello’s AC Milan, who had a string of 13 consecutive victories at the start of the 1992-1993 season. Like a real steamroller, Bayern, led by an exceptional Harry Kane (22 goals this season), dominates everything in its path and could push this record further.

51 goals scored

This season, the Munich side have scored 51 goals while conceding only 10. They have already brought down big, prestigious and formidable teams, with a 3-1 victory against the club world champion, Chelsea, and a 2-1 success in the Klassiker against Borussia Dortmund.

The next match will take place on Saturday (6:30 p.m.) for Bayern with the reception of Bayer Leverkusen on the 9th day of the Bundesliga. But the real big test will be held on Tuesday (9 p.m.) against Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champion, on the lawn of the Parc des Princes.
