Four years ago, during Euro 2021, the journalist had a verbal altercation with
Kylian Mbappé during a press briefing for the French team. A lively exchange which resulted from the declarations of Olivier Giroud at the microphone of the same Latour, when the center forward complained of not “ not see the balloons arriving » targeting Mbappé without naming him.
Bertrand Latour returned to this episode in an interview for the Aliotalk podcast. “Giroud was a little annoyed by my question himself.
