Erling Haaland continues to panic the counters. At 25, the Norwegian striker has had an exceptional start to the season with Manchester City: already 15 goals in all competitions, and 24 goals if we include his performances with Norway. Impressive figures which confirm, once again, its status as a scoring machine, called the “Cyborg” on social networks. In the Champions League, (Haaland even reached the mark of 53 goals in 51 matches)(https://www.footmercato.net/a8552274056482334141-erling-haaland-egalise-un-immense-record-de-cristiano-ronaldo()()), becoming the 10th top scorer in the history of the competition. Despite a slight setback against Aston Villa, the center forward remains the main offensive weapon of Pep Guardiola, who spares his scorer after a small physical scare.

But with his contract running until 2034, the Norwegian’s future at City may not be as certain as it seems. Keith Wyness, former sporting director of Aston Villa, suggested that a departure at the end of the season was possible according to Sport : “I think Erling Haaland could leave at the end of this season. There is a lot of talk about a possible departure of Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid to Saudi Arabia. Rumors of a 200 million euro transfer for the Brazilian could prompt the Spanish club to make an offer for Haaland. » A scenario which could push the Merengues to rush towards Haaland, even if convincing Manchester City and assuming the colossal salary of the striker would be an achievement.
