At just 19 years old, Endrick attracted several European clubs, but it was Olympique Lyonnais who won him over.

OL want Endrick. Olympique Lyonnais are looking for offensive reinforcement for the month of January and have set their sights on the Brazilian, reveals Fabrizio Romano. Lacking playing time at Real Madrid, where Xabi Alonso favors Kylian Mbappé and Gonzalo Garcia, the young player would not be indifferent to the interest of the Rhone club.

However, Endrick also attracts several European big names, including OM, who closely follow the development of the young Madrid player. But according to Foot Mercatothe choice of the 19-year-old player would lean in favor of Lyon for at least two sporting reasons.

Firstly, Endrick wants to work with a renowned coach in Europe to develop young people, in this case Paulo Fonseca. Portuguese, a native language shared by the player and the coach, also facilitates his integration into a French environment but with Portuguese-speaking accents.

A loan of 6 million euros

Then, the idea of spending six months in a Ligue 1 club which does not have a starter in the number nine position appeals to the Madrilenian. The young striker plans to go on loan from January to May, attracting in particular by OL’s participation in the Europa League and its winning momentum.

Finally, to make this transfer a reality, OL will have to take out their wallets. Foot Mercato indicates that Endrick receives around 350,000 euros per month at Real Madrid, or 2 million for six months, to which would be added at least 4 million claimed by the Merengue club for the loan. In total, Lyon could therefore spend 6 million euros to afford the Brazilian striker, even if the managers hope that Real Madrid will cover the majority of his salary during this period.
