Vieira with Deschamps, it’s imminent

Together, Patrick Vieira and Didier Deschamps experienced the glory days of the French team, victorious at the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000. The first represented the second's successor in the French midfield. The two men have other things in common. The latest will be confirmed this Thursday near Cannes.

Patrick Vieira and Didier Deschamps will be present on the lawn of the Pierre-de-Coubertin stadium, for the launch of Cannes Legends. This program, the creation of which was officially announced on October 2, will make it possible to “bringing together major figures from the club around charity matches for the benefit of committed associations”.

The first of these meetings is therefore set for Thursday, with a heck of a lineup of football figures for the occasion. Player for AS Cannes between 1993 and 1995, Patrick Vieira will therefore be one of them. Didier Deschamps didn't play for the club, but will still be there. The same goes for Robert Pirès, Steve Mandanda, Bruno Bellone and William Ayache. The living legend Aimé Jacquet was also announced on the poster.

Zidane has not yet confirmed

Zinédine Zidane has not yet officially confirmed his presence, he who wore the colors of the club from 1988 to 1992. His name is in any case listed on the poster for the event. Other old figures will be on the field. Jan Koller or even Romain Ferrier.

The list of participants is still subject to change.
