The race for Europe is raging in Italy, as the first three matches were held at 6:30 p.m. for the 9th day of Serie A. At the top of the table, AS Roma faced Parma at the Stadio Olimpico. After a very complicated first period for the Romans, with Ferguson leaving due to injury in the seventh minute (replaced by Bailey), the light came from Hermoso (63rd). Well served by Dybala from a corner, the central defender places an unstoppable header. The score even increased, with the 2-0 for Dovbyk. The only alert was Circati’s goal for Parma (2-1 in the end).

Two days after the dismissal of Igor Tudor, Juventus regains color. Carried by Vlahovic, scorer on a penalty from the 5th minute, Gatti (67th) and finally Yildiz in the same way as the Serb (90+6th), the Bianconeri were reassured after a controlled performance at home against Udinese. Zaniolo’s equalizer (45+1) will not have changed anything in Turin. Final score 3-1.

In Como too, there were goals. A scenario similar to that of Juve, with the opening score of Douvikas (9th) for the locals, joined fifteen minutes later through Serdar (25th) after a ball from French goalkeeper Jean Butez. Hellas Verona tried a lot, but in vain since Posch (62nd) and Vojvoda (90+2nd) hit the nail on the head for the team coached by Cesc Fabregas. New 3-1 in this first part of the evening.

Change in ranking

Thanks to its success, the Louve club returns to the level of leader Naples with 21 points. The great operation of the day is signed by Como, now fourth in Serie A (16 pts), with a small point ahead of the Turinese who become European again following their victory at home (15 pts).
