What does the future hold for Endrick? Arriving at Real Madrid with the hope of quickly shining, the player quickly became disillusioned. In his first season in the Merengue jersey, the Brazilian prodigy played an average of just 22 minutes per game in his 37 appearances. The arrival of Xabi Alonso had, however, revived his hopes, especially seeing Franco Mastantuono benefit from playing time.

Since his return to the group for the reception of Espanyol on September 20, Endrick has still not set foot on the pitch, a situation that has become unbearable for him as for Real Madrid, who wish to preserve the potential of their young talent. A winter loan is now being considered in order to guarantee him regular playing time.

Several European clubs quickly positioned themselves to try to secure the services of Endrick. Among them, Olympique de Marseille, which dreams of attracting the 19-year-old prodigy and taking advantage of his immense offensive potential. But another French club is said to be undermining courtesy at OM: Olympique Lyonnais.

OL are ahead of OM

According to Fabrizio Romano, OL began discussions to recover Endrick in January. The negotiations concern a loan, in agreement with Real Madrid and the player's entourage. For the moment, no official offer has yet been submitted, but discussions are progressing significantly.

The Italian journalist also specifies that OL have already presented their plan directly to Endrick, and that the Brazilian has been receptive, seeing Lyon as a serious option for January 2026. However, the young striker remains cautious and continues to study all available avenues, including those abroad or in France, before making a final decision. The suspense therefore remains intact for Lyon supporters and those of OM.
