OM suffered quite a disappointment this Wednesday evening as part of the 10e day of Ligue 1. While PSG, held in check in Lorient earlier in the evening (1-1), had given the Marseillais the opportunity to regain control of the elite, the latter failed in front of Angers on the soggy pitch of the Vélodrome (2-2).

After an insipid first act on the part of the Olympians, it was the SCO players who returned to the locker room with the advantage in the score, thanks to a meritorious goal from Sidiki Cherif (0-1, 25e). However after the break, thanks to a large squad review, OM were able to take control of the match, with a double from young Robinio Vaz (1-1, 52e then 2-1, 70e).

Still two points behind PSG

The cold shower finally fell in extended injury time, at the 96e minute. On a deserved achievement once again signed Ousmane Camara (2-2). The surprising outcome of a missed evening for Marseille which we had not seen so feverish at the back since last season.

Four days after their defeat in Lens, OM therefore remains on one knee, third in the standings, one point behind Monaco and two lengths behind Paris. Angers for its part takes a little height, 13e now with one more point on the clock than the Lorient roadblock.
