PSG's 2022-2023 season was complicated, with an unbalanced squad and a struggling Christophe Galtier, but it also allowed us to see two very influential midfielders at work: Marco Verratti, who was spending his last season in Paris, and Vitinha, then 22 years old, who was discovering the club and its demands.
Two years later, Vitinha, now fully established as Marco Verratti's successor at PSG, was keen to greet his former teammate at the microphone of France Bleu Paris Île-de-France. “It was a pleasure, it was a privilege to share the field with him. I consider myself young, but I was even younger. I had just arrived, and to play in the middle with him, it was really a privilege”.
