Paris Saint-Germain is smiling again. For two years, the capital club has finally managed to achieve sporting and financial success. For a long time, the Rouge et Bleu shone more thanks to their marketing team, while the stars of the first team suffered multiple failures, particularly in the Champions League. For once, all the lights are green. After having signed a historic 2024/2025 season marked by coronations in Ligue 1, the Champions League, the Champions Trophy and the Coupe de France (not forgetting a Club World Cup final lost to Chelsea), the Rouge et Bleu have just announced their financial results.

“Paris Saint-Germain closes the 2024-2025 financial year with a record turnover of 837 million euros. This performance illustrates the maturity of the project initiated since the arrival of its main shareholder QSI and confirms the solidity of the Club's economic model, among the most successful worldwide.», We can read in the press release published on the official PSG website. An exceptional announcement (turnover has increased ninefold since the arrival of QSI in 2011, editor's note) due in large part to this 2024/2025 season which will remain in Parisian memories for a long time.

Record numbers

“For the 2024-2025 season, Paris Saint-Germain increased its commercial revenues to €367 million and its match day revenues to €175 million”indicates PSG which adds, for its income linked to matches at the Parc des Princes, that: “match day revenues”, constantly increasing, have multiplied by 7 since 2011, reaching €175M this season, a fourth consecutive record for the Club”. And that's not all. The other significant success of PSG is having turned the page on overpaid stars putting the club's finances in the red.

“The Club's payroll, formerly greater than 111% of its turnover, is now less than 65%, reflecting a sustainable and responsible financial strategy, and a positive signal to French and European supervisory bodies”specifies PSG. Finally, the marketing department has once again made a splash. “Sales of derivative products and exclusive collections have reached historic levels: sales in the online store have increased by +210% since the start of the season, and those in physical stores by +90%. The launch of the 2025/26 Home jersey recorded an increase of almost +40% compared to the previous record. » PSG can have a smile, even if the capital club has to manage, like its L1 colleagues, the sharp drop in TV rights for the championship.
