If PSG has changed dimension since 2011 and the arrival of QSI at the head of the club, everything has not always been rosy for the recent winners of the Champions League. For fourteen years, the career of the Rouge et Bleu has been marked by numerous sporting successes on a national scale, but also terrible failures in terms of recruitment.

Among the many players who flopped at the Parc des Princes was Grzegorz Krychowiak. Arriving in 2016 for 27.5 million euros from Sevilla FC, the midfielder never convinced at Paris Saint-Germain, where he only played 19 matches with two loans to West Bromwich Albion and Lokomotiv Moscow.

At 35, the man who started his career at the Girondins de Bordeaux has decided to hang up his boots after a 2024-2025 season spent with the Cypriot club Famagusta.
“The time has come to take on new challenges. Football shaped me not only as a player but above all as a man”indicates the former Polish international (100 caps, 5 goals) on Instagram.

“I have no regrets”

“I am an accomplished footballer, I have no regrets and I would not change anythingadds the former Parisian midfielder, who also played for Reims and Nantes in Ligue 1.
I accept my career as it was: with moments full of joy and success, but also with difficult moments that taught me a lot. »

“I wholeheartedly thank the supporters who have accompanied me through good times and bad, to all the footballers with whom I have had the honor of sharing the pitch and to all the people who have supported me along the way. Thank you to my loving family and wife – without you none of this would make sense. Football is worth playing. »
