Faced with competition from Benjamin Šeško and Matheus Cunha, Joshua Zirkzee has probably lost his chances of establishing himself in the Manchester United squad, under the orders of Ruben Amorim. The Dutchman, who arrived from Bologna for over €42 million during the Erik ten Hag era, has struggled greatly at Old Trafford, scoring just seven goals in 49 appearances last season and playing four matches this season.

The challenge now is to know where the former Bayern Munich player will bounce back and when. Thus, according to the Daily MirrorSevilla FC have now entered the race to welcome Zirkzee, who is expected to ask to leave United during the January transfer window. New Spain manager Matias Almeyda is looking to strengthen his attack and believes Zirkzee's style of play would suit La Liga better, while West Ham, with Nuno Espirito Santo, are also said to be considering a loan move for the currently struggling Dutchman.
