The images are pretty crazy. Dani Carvajal and Lamine Yamal are clearly not friends despite their two years together in the Spanish Seleccion with a Euro 2024 coronation on the line. At the final whistle of Sunday's Clasico, won by Real Madrid ahead of FC Barcelona at the Bernabéu (2-1, goals from Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham against an equalizer from Fermin Lopez), the 33-year-old veteran and the 18-year-old phenomenon created a general altercation.
In the images relayed on the networks, we see Carvajal asking Lamine Yamal to stop talking by making gestures at his mouth. The Blaugrana number 10 asks to explain himself to the Merengues executive. Eduardo Camavinga holds back Lamine Yamal, Marc Casado pulls his Catalan teammate towards the locker room and the arrival of Thibaut Courtois then provokes a crowd on the pitch.
Courtois, coming to interfere by pushing Lamine Yamal, is pushed back by Frenkie De Jong, Jules Koundé or Eric Garcia, which causes the Belgian goalkeeper to pull the pin, who threatens De Jong from afar (probably in Dutch).
Vinicius also attacks Lamine Yamal
The rest is even tastier. Vinicius witnessed this little argument without much violence (but certainly filled with a lot of malicious words) before he too lost his temper! The Brazilian winger insults Lamine Yamal from afar, who is being accompanied by a member of Barça towards the locker room. “Vini” then tries to run towards Lamine Yamal! And Raphinha, his fellow auriverde, in street clothes, then intervened!
New crowd just in front of the tunnel. For not much, except the bad image given by these football stars. These Madrilenians and Barcelonans will not spend their holidays together, but some will perhaps play a World Cup in the same selection next year (Carvajal was not called up in October and November).
