This Saturday, Serie A offered us a shock at the top between Naples and Inter Milan, at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium. Before the match, the two teams were tied on 15 points in the standings, but after this success, Napoli temporarily regained the lead in the championship, taking advantage of Milan's 2-2 draw against Pisa last night. The Partenopei opened the scoring in the 33rd minute from the penalty spot thanks to Kevin De Bruyne, who unfortunately was injured on his shot and had to give way to Olivera four minutes later. Naples then found the solution in the second half thanks to Scott McTominay, back after a complicated start to the season.

Launched in depth, the Scottish midfielder scored the break goal with a superb half-volley which deceived Sommer without question (2-0, 54th). Inter tried to react, but Napoli continued to control the match. However, Hakan Çalhanoğlu reduced the gap from the penalty spot in the 59th minute (2-1), but the Neapolitans quickly regained their lead thanks to André-Frank Anguissa, who scored in the 66th minute for the 3-1. Note that Di Lorenzo and Gilmour on the Napoli side, as well as Bastoni on the Inter side, received a yellow card. Naples thus confirms its strength at home and sends a strong signal in the title race, but still loses De Bruyne this evening. For its part, Inter Milan stagnates in 3rd place in the standings.
