Friday evening, FC Nantes returned to success, after five consecutive matches without the slightest victory.
The Canaries won at the Jean-Bouin stadium (1-2), against Paris Football Club, during the advanced match of the ninth day of Ligue 1.

The second club from the capital, which could have reached the first half of the table, did not take advantage of the opportunity. After the meeting, Maxime Lopez did not hide his immense disappointment.

“We are very frustrated, I didn't want to speak directly after the match… It's part of our learning in Ligue 1, but it's starting to do a lot”reacted the captain of the Ile-de-France club to the Ligue 1+ microphone.

Paris FC, watch out for the fall in the rankings

And the former Olympique de Marseille player continued:
“Since the start of the season, every time we come out of a match with a negative score, it's not: 'wow, the opponent was better'. It's: 'oh damn, we could have done better'. There was room. (…) It’s frustrating, it’s boring.”

Stéphane Gilli's men are now preparing for the next few complicated days. Next week, they will first host Olympique Lyonnais on Wednesday evening (9:05 p.m.), before traveling to AS Monaco on Saturday (7 p.m.).
