Central defender Gabriel is doubtful for Arsenal's next match against Crystal Palace this Sunday at the Emirates Stadium. The former LOSC man has not been able to train fully since leaving the field due to a thigh problem during the 4-0 victory against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League, Mikel Arteta explained at a press conference. This injury is a worry for the Spanish technician, as the Gunners look to continue their run of six consecutive victories in all competitions.

Leader of the Premier League, Arsenal displays an impressive defense with only three goals conceded in eight matches, and some are already talking about the possibility of beating José Mourinho's Chelsea record (15 goals conceded over an entire season in 2004-2005). Arteta stressed the importance of Gabriel, author of a goal and an assist against Atlético, while hoping to recover him quickly. The former deputy of Pep Guardiola also recalled the famous phrase of Sir Alex Ferguson according to which “Attackers win matches but defenses win titles” and confirmed his desire to make Arsenal an ever more difficult team to beat.
