The Portuguese international was one of the great architects of the reigning champion's great success on German soil. The hub of PSG, the midfielder performs high-flying performances with great regularity.
This masterclass, however, was not enough to be selected in the eleven of the week in the Champions League. And for good reason, another Parisian, Nuno Mendes, was acclaimed. However, only one player per team is eligible and the left back was awarded the MVP title by UEFA.

It didn't take much to see some Paris Saint-Germain fans take offense at Vitinha's absence.
“He plays tennis”wrote a supporter of the capital club on the social network x (formerly Twitter).
Even the specialized account “Paristeam” had its little comment: “Nuno Mendes once again present in the 11th of the week! PS: Vitinha has probably converted to golf, we don’t know.” While waiting for a possible reconversion, the PSG maestro has not finished enchanting football purists.
