While the future of Thibaut Courtois raised some questions in Madrid, the file is closed. As indicated Onda Cerothe agreement between the club from the Spanish capital and the Belgian goalkeeper for an extension is complete. It should therefore be extended by one year, until 2028, while its current lease expired at the end of June 2027.
A one-year extension, as is always the case with players over 30 in Madrid. With more than 300 matches played in the colors of Real Madrid, and 14 titles won, the Belgian will therefore defend the cages of the Santiago Bernabéu for at least two more seasons.
