Paris Saint-Germain has sent a new strong message to Europe. Traveling to Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday evening for the third day of the Champions League, the capital club annihilated the German team (2-7), thus achieving a third success in a row in the competition.

A meeting marked in particular by the red card received by the captain of Bayer, Robert Andrich, guilty of an elbow in the face of Désiré Doué in the first period (33rd). But the 2024 German champions did not remain outnumbered for long. Parisian summer recruit, Illia Zabarnyi, was sent off a few moments later after a handball in the area (37th).

Another hot episode, which went somewhat unnoticed, also took place during this demonstration by the European champions. This involved Bradley Barcola, who is nevertheless reserved and calm by nature, as well as the Burkinabe defender, Edmond Tapsoba.

The two men had a heated argument, Tapsoba clearly not having appreciated that Barcola requested a yellow card against him from the referee. A yellow card that the Bayer player finally received. Which did not calm him down since he continued to insult the French international, as shown in a video circulating on social networks.

Started by Luis Enrique for this match, Bradley Barcola failed to find the fault. The former Lyonnais, on the other hand, delivered a new assist to Ousmane Dembélé, scorer for his big return to competition. The 2025 Ballon d'Or has been absent from the field since the beginning of September.
