The slap inflicted by Paris Saint-Germain on Bayer Leverkusen (7-2) will go down in the annals of European football. The German club became the first in the history of its country to concede seven goals at home in the European Cup, a sad record which illustrates the scale of the shipwreck experienced at the BayArena. Never since its creation had the Werkself conceded such a correction in front of its audience, a sign of a nightmarish evening facing an opponent who was clearly superior in all areas of the game.

For its part, PSG has registered its name a little higher in the Champions League books. With seven goals scored away from home, the Parisian club beat its own record in a C1 match, confirming its formidable offensive efficiency. The reigning European champion continues the demonstrations and sends a strong signal to the competition.
