While the big boys are playing this evening, the youngsters from Sporting have launched hostilities by upsetting the Marseille Minots.

It wasn't really the match expected for OM. While the A team travels this Wednesday evening to the Sporting Portugal field (9 p.m.), the young people played this afternoon on behalf of the Youth League.

Defeated by the Portuguese (2-1), the Minots first conceded the opening score by Flavio Gonçalves in the 11th minute. It was then that the young Lisbon players upset the Phocaeans, wearing a t-shirt of the Marseille rapper JuL on the corner post.

OM returns, then breaks down

Nothing to bother the OM under-19s, who came back to score in the 47th minute through Darryl Bakola, before unfortunately cracking in the 81st and the goal from Paulo Simao. The Minots have a third defeat in a row this season in the competition, after that against Ajax (3-5) then against Real (3-2).
