Things happened between Leverkusen and PSG after the 30th minute. Two red cards (one in each team), an equalizing penalty for the Germans… and a match that was not restarted at all.
At 10 against 10, PSG took the opportunity to kill the suspense by scoring three goals in quick succession, signed Désiré Doué (41st, 45th+3) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (44th).
Doué's second goal is quite nice, with a Parisian counter-attack concluded by a magnificent placed strike from the former Rennais. The former Rennais' first double since… the Champions League final.
