Paris Saint-Germain seems to have found the way for its future stadium, after the failure of negotiations with Paris town hall regarding the Parc des Princes. The capital club is now exploring several avenues for the construction of a new enclosure, and has decided to directly involve its supporters in this strategic reflection.
This Monday, more than 90,000 supporters received an email inviting them to respond to a pre-feasibility survey. This concerns subscribers, members of the MyParis loyalty program and ticket holders from past seasons. The objective: to gather their opinions on the day and non-match day experience, on the expected services, but also on the accessibility and location of the future stadium.
Two chosen cities
Two sites in the Paris suburbs have been selected as being able to accommodate the future enclosure: Massy (Essonne) and Poissy (Yvelines). Supporters are therefore invited to express their preference between these two options, as part of this consultation. The club specifies that this investigation does not concern the Parc des Princes, but rather new equipment, the design of which is underway.
At the same time, PSG has launched several other studies relating to soil, accessibility and architecture, and is continuing discussions with local stakeholders. All of this work should make it possible to decide on the location and characteristics of the future stadium by the fall of 2026, according to
The Team. The consultation with supporters will remain open for one month.
